visions of steel girders drifting
among planets and spaceships
and other sad gravities

a certain vibe will rise above the world
and anything that accentuates its presence
will emerge and will be understood
as the primary way to engage with it

a light gray fluff of air
moves overhead
what’s attuned inside of us
feels it shift through

i think i will find myself
a picture of rain
and sit for a while

rest my shoes
and feel the ache soak through
